Terms of Service

Last updated: June 16, 2026

These Terms govern your use of letsdap.com and the Letsdap web app, operated by Letsdap, Inc. (“Letsdap”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using Letsdap, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use Letsdap on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Letsdap. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@letsdap.com if you suspect unauthorized use. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or pose a risk to the service or other users.

4. The service

Letsdap is a platform for discovering, creating, and attending events. It lets hosts publish events, sell tickets or collect RSVPs, manage attendees and check-in, and lets attendees register, hold tickets, and connect with others. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

5. Hosts and events

If you create or host an event, you are the organizer of that event, not Letsdap. You are solely responsible for your event, including its lawfulness, accurate listings and pricing, honoring tickets and RSVPs, delivering what you advertise, setting and applying your own refund policy, and complying with all applicable laws and taxes. You are also responsible for handling attendee information you receive through Letsdap lawfully and consistently with our Privacy Policy. Letsdap is not a party to the agreement between a host and their attendees.

6. Tickets, payments, and fees

Ticket payments are processed by our payment partners, Stripe and Paystack. Hosts set ticket prices and their own refund and cancellation policies. Any service fees that apply to a transaction are shown at checkout before you pay. Payouts to hosts are made through their connected payment account and may be subject to the processor's terms, holds, and verification. You are responsible for charges you authorize; disputed charges and chargebacks are handled in line with the processor's rules and the host's policy.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Letsdap for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose.
  • List or run events that are illegal or that violate others' rights.
  • Infringe intellectual property or post content you have no right to.
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users, hosts, or attendees.
  • Upload malware or interfere with the service's operation or security.
  • Scrape, harvest, or bulk-collect data without our written permission.
  • Attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, or access controls.

8. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit — event details, images, descriptions, and other materials. You grant Letsdap a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the service. You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the rights to share it. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

9. Our intellectual property

Letsdap, including the platform, software, branding, and design, is owned by Letsdap, Inc. and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or to copy or reverse-engineer the service.

10. Third-party services

The service relies on and may link to third parties (such as payment processors, maps, and sign-in providers). We are not responsible for third-party services or content, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that any event will take place, that listings are accurate, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Letsdap is not the organizer of, and is not responsible for, the events listed on the platform.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Letsdap and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid to Letsdap in the 12 months before the claim or USD 100.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Letsdap harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your content, your events, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Termination

You may stop using Letsdap and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Letsdap, Inc. is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
